Following the completion of the Council’s community governance review and the Local Government Boundary Commission for England’s Review into the electoral arrangements for the East Riding of Yorkshire Council, we are conducting a review of polling districts and polling places in accordance with the Electoral Registration and Administration Act of 2013.

The aim of the review is to ensure:

1. the current polling districts and stations are appropriate for the areas that they cover.
2. all electors have reasonable and practicable facilities for voting.
3. that, as far as is reasonable and practicable, polling places are accessible to all electors, including those who are disabled. 

By completing this survey you will be assisting the council in the identification of the most suitable venues for use as a polling station.

The two supporting documents (the Notice of the review of polling districts and polling and places and the Polling district and station proposals) are available to download below, with the proposed changes highlighted on the document. In the proposal document, proposals that relate to a change in the parish boundary are highlighted in yellow, and those for areas where there is a change to a parish boundary and / or polling station are highlighted in green.
