• Cleanliness and regular maintenance were the top priorities, especially litter and overflowing bins.
• You want safer parks, including better lighting, clearer sightlines, and visible presence at key times.
• More inclusive facilities are needed: accessible paths, benches at regular intervals, and improved toilets.
• Families asked for upgraded play areas, more shade, and better-separated spaces for dogs and children.
• You supported more nature-friendly management (wildflower areas, tree planting), but wanted it balanced with tidy, usable spaces.

• Increased litter picking and bin emptying at peak times, and added extra bins in high-footfall areas.
• Started a targeted safety programme: improved lighting in priority locations and refreshed park signage and sightlines.
• Committed funding to accessibility upgrades, including resurfacing key paths and adding more benches on main routes.
• Began a rolling programme to refresh play equipment, with the first sites selected based on usage and need.
• Launched a “Greener Rushborough Parks” approach: expanded wildflower verges, increased tree planting, and introduced clearer mowing plans to keep spaces welcoming and well-managed.
